Weight Gain..help!

Postby charlesedwin » Mon Dec 21, 2009 11:28 am

I am 22 years old, and overweight, i have struggled with weight loss for a long time, i lost 2 stones in 2 years with the help of weight watchers, however in the past year i put on 2 and a half stones, i have literally tried everything, a dietician recommended cutting wheat and dairy out of my diet and am vegetarian
, which i have been doing i go to the gym, and work as hard as i can, and my weight hasnt budged for the past 5 months,

I recently started having heart palpitations and have been having tests to check up on it, its been getting me very down, to an extent where i cant sleep and am lacking concentration because i can't stop thinking about it, and feel as if i cant do anything right which i think is a sign of depression,

someone recently mentioned that i could have a thyroid problem, is there anyone who had any similar symptoms? i feel i've hit rock bottom!

Suddenly overweight in your body may be the symptom of thyroid. I would suggest you have a body check up for your better health.

For weight gain never use any kind of medicines or steroids because these steroids and affects our body and health very badly and lead to different diseases. For weight and muscles gain you should take more healthy and balanced foods, you should take more protein for building your muscles. Along with these healthy foods you should also do some exercises to convert these foods into your muscles.

Hi,

I want to say something on thyroid and weight loss,

The thyroid gland is that the primary regulator of your body's metabolism. If it doesn't perform properly folks will have weight loss in addition as weight gaining problems. It plays a definite role in maintaining body temperature, will modify the metabolic rate of each cell, controls neurotransmitters within the brain altering your moods, appetite, behavior and emotions. Weight loss is not potential when your metabolism slows to a crawl. you are feeling fatigued, and your mind acts adore it is during a fog.
